Our AWP Flexo plate does more than match traditional solvent or thermal plates, it out performs the best digital plates currently available. For the first time a digital photopolymer plate can hold extremely small stable dots, smaller than those of traditionally processed plates, and its stability on press is superior to any other plate. With AWP the most common printing problems with flexo plates are virtually eliminated, our plate has the ability to produce a smaller dot size thus giving a lower dot gain and high dot stability, this in turn will virtually eliminate a breaking point or hard edge on a vignette, coupled with the extraordinary ink transfer, you will use less ink producing it. In fact the plate will release all the ink it picks up from the anilox. Other problems like ink build up or dot bridging will also virtually disappear.
